Patty Livingston

Patty Livingston was raised in the great state of Texas. She moved to Las Vegas over thirty-five years ago. She has been a special education teacher with the Clark County School District for over twenty-five years. She holds a BA in Special Education as well as a Masters degree from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She holds endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Intellectual Disabilities, and an Associates in Speech-Language Pathology. During her teaching career, Patty has worked with a variety of children with varying degrees of diversity. She is passionate about teaching children and feels that all students can be educated to reach their full potential. Patty uses a variety of teaching modalities (i.e. auditory, visual, and tactile/kinesthetic) and activities (i.e. play therapy, music, and movement). She believes by providing variety, you will maintain the interest of your students and reach all learning styles.

When not teaching, Patty and her husband love to travel the world in an RV and drive for weeks exploring amazing places. She enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking. She is a mother of four and loves being “Grammy” to seven amazing grandchildren.
